Our latest Stockholm after-work blogmeet was way back in September. It was high time for another one! Good food, good company, silly jokes. And Paddy K hatched a plan: we're setting up a one-off Geek Fashion Blog Carnival!

Barring illness, accidents or natural catastrophes, I'll be there!

2

Cool! But what about Acts of God?

3

Dunno if I can meet up. It all comes down to what my solar calender says...

Yes, I realise that the National Heritage Board must issue one of those to each employee...

5

yep, and then onto making a few multivocal signs.

Acts of God will be duly ignored in favour of reality.

7

I will very curiously study any sudden act of God and try to figure out what's going on, but failing any of those, I'll be at Wirströms.

I'll make a BIG fuss and try to be there. Will just have returned to my work after 2 weeks on winter holidays with the kids and I'm really going to need any excuse to drink beer...
Just have to double check there are no prior engagements.

Another meet I'll miss, this time I am once again bound to Växjö after the Holidays. So my cheers will be heard through the astral plane with the help of my astral antennas... Oh I forgot, I cut my hair some days back so my transmission might be slightly of course (damn those government employed hair dressers).

Barring major forces to the contrary, I'll be there too. Is this another co-production with Paddy K?

Posted by: Tor | January 1, 2008 7:19 AM

Cool, Tor! Or, as we say in Swedish, kultur!

Paddy will hopefully join the party, but he didn't want to be an official host this time.

I hereby challenge these so-called gods to try and stop me from attending!

Regarding this comment:

...excuse to drink beer...

Does ... not ... compute ...

Welcome Thinker! Don't worry, after a few beers you'll be able to grok it.

Drat! The kids swim school starts today. I can skip it some other time, but not the first...
Drat, drat, drat!!!

Think of me...

I'll see if I can finish off my experiments early so that I can get over today.

Posted by: MartinC | January 8, 2008 8:47 AM

16

Drat indeed, Åsa!

Martin, I'm sure everybody at the blogmeet will happily act as your experimental subjects.

Hehe. Let's play "odd one out"!
