Do you people not understand internet etiquette? Once a conversation is closed, it's closed--don't go spamming other threads with unrelated comments. I already told y'all I'd re-open the AIDS discussion in another thread--are you so impatient that you can't give me a few days' break to go enjoy my new family members? Sheesh.
Anyhoo, as I mentioned, I'll get to the Padian paper soon--possibly tomorrow. Please keep the comments on the whole AIDS topic reserved for that--and specifically that paper, when it's posted.
[Edited to add: after reading all the comments, I do want to thank the few of you who congratulated me on the new additions. I appreciate it].
In the meantime, babies:

Tara,
That pretty darn cute.
Which one of the babies is yours? :-)

Yeah, I tried to tell them but AIDS deniers seem to think what they have to say is so very important they have to say it even if they're being rude.
Welcome back, and way cute kiddies! :)

That's my daughter in the bottom pic. Top one is my sister's baby; bottom is my brother-in-law's kiddo. Both boys.

Darn kids just have to be so cute. And what is it about little kids in glasses that adds to the cuteness quotient?

The cute gene cluster is highly derepressed on both alleles in your family - if these traits are also linked to your extraordinary intelligence, these kids are bound to be wicked smart as well. Look out Iowa and the world!
Congratulations on the new additions to your family!
