"Random quotes"--SB game of the week

Since I've been tied to the computer this weekend, might as well take a break and do something a bit more entertaining than revising papers and books and preparing for the impending start of classes. Janet passed around the random quotations meme: scrolling through here and picking the first 5 that reflect who you are or what you believe. Mine after the jump.

"Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment." --Benjamin Franklin

"The radical of one century is the conservative of the next. The radical invents the views. When he has worn them out the conservative adopts them." --Mark Twain

"It was once said that the moral test of Government is how that Government treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly; and those who are in the shadows of life, the sick, the needy and the handicapped." --Hubert H. Humphrey

"A wise man will make more opportunities than he finds." --Sir Francis Bacon

"It is impossible to defeat an ignorant man in argument." -- William G. McAdoo

For those of you who've not already clicked through these at one of the other ScienceBlogs, what are some quotes that fit you? (They can be from the random quote generator or elsewhere; I'm not picky).

"The true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible." -Oscar Wilde

I think the above quote is even beter if you replace visible with natural and invisible with supernatural.
