Over at Overwhelming Evidence someone named hblavatsky states:
Evolutionist terrorist cells have received their orders to unleash a full barrage of hurtful satirical remarks at this great doctor in order to destroy his reputation. Indeed, it is precisely because of Dr Egnor's impeccable qualifications and reputation that he has been chosen as their next victim.
I am miffed about this. Yet again, Darwinian Orthodoxy Central has failed to send me these orders. I had to discover Egnors falsehoods and unleash a full barrage of "hurtful satirical remarks" all on my own (although Tyler DiPietro has maliciously accused me of merely "chiming in"). This has got to stop! How can I march in lockstep with my fellow evolutionists conspirators and "...pick out a single individual who has dared to stand up for the truth and expose him to their particularly savage brand of ridicule in order to destroy his reputation." if I never receive my marching orders? So just to prove my bonafides to Darwinian Orthodoxy Central (in the hopes that they will include me in future conspiracies, here is one final shot at Egnor. This tidbit of information comes to us courtesy of Stony Brook's HSC E-News which mentions Dr. Egnor:
Another recent press conference held this past month featured a visit by Miss America to endorse and support our pediatric cancer efforts and the Sunrise Fund, and most recently, we received extensive press coverage for Dr. Michael Egnor's brilliant care of a child who was near death from an auto accident.[emphasis mine - afarensis]
The very next paragraph concerns another interesting story at Dr. Egnor's Medical School:
These stories followed the publicity generated by a research team in dating fossils back 200,000 years--another first. Dr. John Fleagle of Anatomical Sciences was a member of the research team, and this achievement has garnered attention throughout the world.
So the question becomes was Dr. Egnor uninformed when he made his comment "There are no 'professors of evolution' in medical schools." or was he lying for the cause?

Afarensis is a 3.5-2.8 million year old hominin from the Kada Hadar member of the Hadar formation in the Middle Awash, Ethiopia. He is approximately 41 inches tall, weighs approximately 60 pounds and has a cranial capacity of a whopping 410 cc (approximately). Afarensis is currently considered to be transitional between apes and humans and displays some traits of both. Since he spends a lot of time on the couch watching monster movies, some observers question whether he is an obligate biped (although no one has observed him climbing a tree). He also has a blog called

Well, I guess the fact that you have been gone for at lest 2.8 million years contribute to the fact that you are not on the mailing list.

I vote "all of the above".

Kristjan - That is chronologyism pure and simple.
QrazyQat - I think he is lying because he thinks no one in his target audience will know better.

Did you remember to send DOC a change of address card the last time you moved?

No, I just assumed that since the DOC was in charge of a global conspiracy they would know when I moved! Do I feel sheepish!
Mustafa - apparently you didn't get the memo either...

Oh that memo! I remember asking myself, "Egnor who?" and being short of toilet paper.

I looked at Stoney Brook's own Web site and came up with the irony of ironies: They have Maeve Leakey for an adjunct professor and established a Turkana Basin Institute for the study of human evolution. They are also home to the Stony Brook Human Evolution Symposium.
(I hope this goes through: it has 4 links in it.)

I think you are beginning to convince me - and the jokes didn't hurt either, except my sides.
I guess I could become such a terrorist too. Being male, I have the necessary prerequisites, shooting sperm and all.
But that raises a question. What does the DOC women do?

...because of Dr Egnor's impeccable qualifications...
As long as Egnor is sufficiently impressed by my impeccable qualifications to believe whatever I have to say about neurosurgery. (I still don't understand why my license for practicing geology does not mention neurosurgery.)
