Profile

afarcomp3.jpg Afarensis is a 3.5-2.8 million year old hominin from the Kada Hadar member of the Hadar formation in the Middle Awash, Ethiopia. He is approximately 41 inches tall, weighs approximately 60 pounds and has a cranial capacity of a whopping 410 cc (approximately). Afarensis is currently considered to be transitional between apes and humans and displays some traits of both. Since he spends a lot of time on the couch watching monster movies, some observers question whether he is an obligate biped (although no one has observed him climbing a tree). He also has a blog called Transitions:The Evolution of Life His previous blog can be found here.

PvM at The Panda's Thumb dug these up. Ordinarily I would just provide a link and leave it at that, but the two videos are so good I want to post them myself. Be sure, however to follow the link to PT and thank Pim for an excellent find! Oops, according to Pim, Reed Cartwright found them. Kudos Reed!

Breathtakingly concise, informative and effective. I will use these in my historical geology classes. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Let me see if I have this right...there are inconsistencies
in the fossil record, so, evolution is false and creation is
correct? It's late, and I don't have time now to watch all the clips. Maybe in the morning I can figure this out...

Tom Jones - perhaps you could pay attention before leaving comments in the future.

I'm not sure about his "find a single ... without these to disprove evolution" statements. I thought it was quite possible to lose
specific treats later and there might be also
"primitive" members of the family who don't have it yet.

e.g. for mammals without nipples the platypus comes to mind. They
give milk, but don't have nipples, but are considered mammals.

Or for example snakes or cicilians don't have legs but they do not really disprove evolution, do they? [ok maybe that's a bad example because legs are not unique to reptils/amphibians, but you get my point]

I am going to see if I cam find a way from the creation point of veiw that disproves it. i know there is because evolution is a lying relgion, but I need facts from the creation point of veiw. Good tape, good info, but I don't believe a word.
