Just thought I'd mention that...Since I'm awake when I don't want to be, I guess I will start work on a three part post concerning crocodiles, mammalian carnivores, and hominins...

Afarensis is a 3.5-2.8 million year old hominin from the Kada Hadar member of the Hadar formation in the Middle Awash, Ethiopia. He is approximately 41 inches tall, weighs approximately 60 pounds and has a cranial capacity of a whopping 410 cc (approximately). Afarensis is currently considered to be transitional between apes and humans and displays some traits of both. Since he spends a lot of time on the couch watching monster movies, some observers question whether he is an obligate biped (although no one has observed him climbing a tree). You'd think, but now that I'm actually working on it I'm starting to get really tired. Oh, well, at least I've made a start and committed myself to it. Hopefully, I will get 4-5 more paragraphs banged out and finish up the first post tomorrow.

I sometimes find that too. But when I go to bed, I still can't get to sleep.

I occasionally have insomniac nights. I had one on Thursday, for no reason I could discern. I feel your pain!
