A Good Poop

A blog about strange and wonderful medical science publications. It's not as boring as it sounds. Honestly.

Profile

A Good Poop is thrown together by a guy named Chris. Chris is working on his Master's degree at the University of Toronto. You can reach him at agoodpoop@gmail.com.

The dude who designed the banner would like you to check this out.

YOUR HEAD A SPLODE

Category: Brain Stuff
Posted on: February 4, 2008 12:14 PM, by Chris

Nakaguchi H, Matsuno A, Teraoka A. Prediction of the incidence of spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage from meteorological data. Int J Biometeorol. 2008 Jan 8; [Epub ahead of print]

Changes in the weather can make your head (read: blood vessels in your brain) explode (read: rupture)!

It's like Scanners, only with periods of relatively high atmospheric pressure or low ambient temperature instead of telekinesis. And somewhat less graphic in presentation.
