Sneak Attack in the War on Christmas

Those tricky Culture Warriors - they've gone and launched the latest assault in the War on Christmas early this year, denying the Evil Secularist Conspiracy the chance to properly prepare for battle. They didn't wait until Thanksgiving this year, or even until Halloween. They're in the stores and fighting now:

I was in the mall today and was amazed at the number of Christmas trees I saw displayed. At least they weren't playing Christmas music yet!

Campaigns run in winter have a bad track record. I guess they learned from Napoleon and Hitler...

I was in a Kohl's the other day, and couldn't believe it when I saw a section already set up with all sorts of Christmas decorations.

Gosh dont remind me of the coming of christmas, besides the fact that my birthday is in december there is nothing special about the month (I'm not really concerned about the presents part either). But I have to listen to christmas music at work beginning the week of thanksgiving or the day after. I have about a month and a half of sanity left.

That was their own fault for doing the Christmas shopping too late. If you want to get Moscow as a present for your mistress, you have to start earlier...

Isn't there a Sliders episode where it's Christmas every day?

Sort of puts the whole "who can have the earliest primary/caucus first" battle into perspective, no?
