I'm presenting it without any further comment, because there really isn't a hell of a lot than can be said - and we're still stuck with the shallow little twit for the next 251 days:
Q Mr. President, you haven't been golfing in recent years. Is that related to Iraq?
THE PRESIDENT: Yes, it really is. I don't want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the Commander-in-Chief playing golf. I feel I owe it to the families to be as -- to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal.

I kind of wonder what the problem with this statement is.
Honestly, I agree with the text that the President said. It is politically expediant for him to not be playing Golf right now. I do think playing golf while you're at war sends teh wrong message.
Now, as a question, it's off the wall. What's the purpose in asking it? Was this a setup so that we can see what hardships W is going through because of this war? Because if so, that is pretty weak. Was it just a throw away question?
I certainly agree that he could be doing more to be in solidarity with the families of the war. Endign the war being top on the list. But I think it's a good response to the question asked.

As Bush knew at the time and has since confirmed, Iraq had nothing to do with the infamous attacks on New York so the pretence of fighting terrorism there was just one big lie.
What it has done is put American and Allied troops in harms way and caused almost countless misery and suffering to millions of Iraqi civilians.
But from Bush's point of view, we see that Companies that he and his father have a considerable stake, making billions out of this rotten war so I am sure as he tramples over the bodies of dead Americans to the Bank, he can afford to make a token gesture and not play Golf!
