Those are beautiful! The overall design and palette, the earth tones and use of strange overlays of splotches (is that a coffecup stain in the top right corner?) are all cool elements.
The birdbot thing is my favorite, though the X-ed out eyes of the other birds are a bit freaky.

We saw a horse gas mask at the AMNH...apparently they were all the rage during WWI! Nothing as artistic as these though...=)

It's interesting that the "illustrations" are so much stronger than the "paintings." I notice, too, that your selections are drawn from the former pool. What's my point? Dunno.
