Is it a small torpedo? A thermos? A shiny handbag? Who cares, it's adorable!

Metal purse by Frank Strunk, who has also created some really uncomfortable-looking "industrial chic" outfits and men's ties. Uh, I'll just take the purse, thanks.

It is cute, but having spent too much time outside at 0F this morning, looking at it makes my hand hurt.

So, do you suppose "Jade" can feed an infant with those gas-pump-style attachments? Not that I'm trying to justify that ensemble for myself, mind . . . .

Some of those ties look so doable as a jewelry craft. Imagine if you made the flat pieces out of cloisonné or coper-enameled elements.

I dare you to show up at the airport carrying one of those!

That unit is going to go over big at the airport.

You might want to allocate an extra hour for security to check it through, after the SWAT team leaves of course, so you don't miss your flight.

Have you added Haute Macabre to your Google Reader as well? I did :)

It looks like a part which fell off one of Doctor Who's cybermen...!

It was pretty funny seeing all the space guns in the SFO display *in the airport*, when we all know something as harmless as this would freak security out. In a related note, a friend of mine set off a metal detector three times today before remembering - oh, yeah! - that he was carrying A FLASHLIGHT. A medium-sized flashlight, INSIDE his jacket. How does one forget that?
