A few of you commented recently that you'd received your free copy of Autism's False Prophets, but hadn't gotten an email from us yet. Excuse us! An email went out this morning, to everyone who signed up. If you were expecting one but didn't get it, check your junk-mail filter. It might have gotten trapped.
One more email, with some thoughts and questions about the book to jump-start the discussion, will go out before the club begins, probably on Monday evening.

Don't worry Liz, it looks like you can participate anyway. Here is what it said in the email:
"Whether you hopped on the free-book bandwagon or not, we hope you'll join us beginning this Wednesday, October 1, at the ScienceBlogs Book Club blog (http://scienceblogs.com/bookclub), for a lively discussion of 'Autism's False Prophets.'"
I got my book by UPS this afternoon. Woo Hoo! I shall be spending quality in my reading nook tonight and tomorrow morning.

I forgot I had signed up and was very pleased to receive the book in the mail near the end of last week. I'm already well into it (but little spare time!) and have enjoyed it immensely so far. Very clear and compelling writing. Looking forward to the discussion!

Do you have to have an account at ScienceBlogs to get the updates? I signed up to try for the free book and I got something saying that the books were all given out but that I would get e-mail updates. I haven't gotten anything so clicked on the link in this post, but it took me to a screen asking me to sign onto my account, which I don't have and have no idea how to get.

I got the one email saying "if you are getting the book, you have it by now" (or something to that effect). I got the book later that day!
No other mailings.
