"A Blog around the Clock" interviews John Edwards

Category: Fun with Politics
Posted on: July 8, 2007 6:51 PM, by Kevin Beck

For the politically inclined, on Monday morning at 9 a.m. EDT, coturnix will post an interview he conducted with Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, a senator in coturnix's home state of North Carolina.

Inside sources tell me the Q-&-A will cover Edwards' personal interest and background in science, global warming, NASA, general anti-science trends in the U.S., the response to pandemic outbreaks, controversies in the agricultural milieu, the relationship between the state of science in the U.S. and that in advanced nations, and more.

So by all accounts, even if you're not an Edwards fan but follow the increasingly perilous interface between knowledge and policy, there will very likely be something of interest in the posted interview.
