It is good to observe

Shame NASA will be losing some of this capability over the next few years.
Maybe no one will notice next time.

The 1st 2 links provided seem to have gone foo...

Here about 100 miles south of the fire, where skies turned sickly yellow-brown for days, we (& the state Forestry Service) call it the Bugaboo Fire. This is because (a) it was reportedly started by a lightning strike on Bugaboo Island in the Okefenokee Swamp, and (b) it sounds so good in a southern accent.
