Dynamics of Cats

Speculations on astronomy, astrophysics, news I find interesting, theoretical issues, science and science policy. I will digress into computational physics, science fiction and general issues and basically whatever I feel like whenever. And, of course, cats.

Doesn't this mean that Iceland will now rank as extremely low in purchasing power on the Big Mac index ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Mac_Index ), given that a Big Mac would have to be imported at absurdly high cost? The Big Mac Index isn't locavore-friendly, which is one of its shortcomings.

Also, if you go by Thomas Friedman's (dubious or false) claim that no two countries with McDonald's have ever gone to war with each other, this is surely a sign that Iceland is preparing to loot and pillage its defenseless European neighbors, or perhaps beat up on some Newfies.
