This year we have started the tradition with our oldest girl of taking a little stuffed elf and placing it in various places of the house so she can find it. Often it is doing cute little things like roasting little marshmallows or hiding in a silverware drawer. What ominous overtones we could add if we give this little elf some Icelandic habits!
