The Challenge is the work of Dave Munger and Chad Orzel, and grew out of discussions on ScienceBlogs.

Special thanks to Kate Nepveu and Jeremy Campbell for help setting up the site, and to our expert graders: David Bruggeman, Suzi, Elisa Davis, Natalie Hudson, Battlepanda and Lisa.

Did you participate in the challenge?

Here's how to find your entry.

  1. If you can remember a few words from your entry, try searching in the dialog box to the left
  2. If you still can't find it, send us an email (remove dashes) with the name you used when submitting your original entry.
  3. We'll send you a link to your entry (give us a day or so to respond)

Once you find your essay, you're free to link to it from your own blog, complain about the grading in the comments, and, of course, place your Blogger Challenge participation badge prominently on any Internet location you have the password to.

If we can't find your entry, it's due to four possible reasons:

  1. You went overtime, so your entry was disqualified
  2. You opted out, indicating on your entry that you did not want it published
  3. You gave us the wrong name
  4. There was some other technical error that caused your entry to not be registered (if this is the case, we're sorry, but unfortunately there's nothing more we'll be able to do for you).
