Chaotic Utopia

The day is upon us, the first Tuesday in November, good old election day.

I could, as the "Ask a ScienceBlogger" question of the week requests, discuss the most important political races local to me, or explain why certain ballot initiatives are important, while others are not. But, chances are, you're getting tired of that, and need a break.

So, since you've already gone to vote...

...here are a few web-based delights to celebrate election day.

Have you ever wanted to throw tomatoes at that one sleazy congressman? How about unleashing a massive flood on Global Warming skeptics? Thanks to Net Disaster you can safely do this, and more, even drop nukes on the president, or, if you're really tasteless, poo on your least favorite politician. Unleash disasters on any site across the web, or turn your favorite referendum into a live demonstration. You can strike Ted Haggard with the hand of God or even unleash true chaos on Chaotic Utopia--A baby with a crayon!.

My son rediscovered the net disaster tools a few days ago, while browsing Jay's Casual Gameplay site. Since my son is a little young, most of this election stuff goes right over his head. Consequently, he didn't notice one of Jay's latest reviews: September 12th, a Toy World. Not only does Jay suggest an entertaining casual game, but makes an excellent point, questioning our continuing presence in Iraq. If you can tear yourself away from the net disasters, it is definitely an entry worth checking out.
