My scientific specialty is chronobiology (circadian rhythms and photoperiodism), with additional interests in comparative physiology, animal behavior and evolution. I am not an MD so I cannot diagnose and treat your sleep problems. As well as writing this blog, I am also the Online Discussion Expert for PLoS. This is a personal blog and opinions within it in no way reflect the policies of PLoS. You can contact me at: Coturnix@gmail.com

No - the marvels of MovableType: ability to schedule posts in advance. My Clock Quotes (4am), SCB-NC07 (8am) and re-posts from the Archives (11am) are usually all lined up to automatically appear at leaast a week in advance. Sometimes I do the same with cat pictures (1am). I do 'My picks from Science Daily" the night before, before I go to bed, and schedule them for 9am the next day. The rest I post as I go.
