My scientific specialty is chronobiology (circadian rhythms and photoperiodism), with additional interests in comparative physiology, animal behavior and evolution. I am not an MD so I cannot diagnose and treat your sleep problems. As well as writing this blog, I am also the Online Discussion Expert for PLoS. It's great to see how much energy and enthusiasm you bring for the PLoS One cause. I got your email and will do my best to support it as much as I can. I regularly post comments on PLoS One papers and have also published there myself.
