People who want to understand democracy should spend less time in the library with Aristotle and more time on the buses and in the subway.

Given that Strunsky died in 1948, I think this quote might need a little updating for the times.
Frankly, people who spend time in the library reading anything engaging and intellectual aren't my biggest worry.
"less time obsessing about Britney Spears" "less time reading the bible" "less time watching morons on YouTube" "less time watching reality TV"
And I've taken buses and subways everyday for over 30 years.
