My scientific specialty is chronobiology (circadian rhythms and photoperiodism), with additional interests in comparative physiology, animal behavior and evolution. After these past years of one incompetent catastrophe after another, what a breath of fresh air to see that the Human race is still capable of producing outstanding competence at incredibly difficult tasks on a routine basis.
