I have been reading this blog for 8 months now, mostly as a silent reader. I have enjoyed the diverse topics discussed here. You guys have done an astounding job in posting amazing stuff. Thank you very much.

I am thinking that though there will be no new updates, this blog will still be here for looking up to older posts.

Wishing You Luck in you Future Endeavours,

For those who see ending their life as an 'end to life' (and suffering), they might consider that intellectually, it makes sense that nonexistence (and, subsequent non-consciousness or awareness) bookends 'life' -before and after. So, we are are left then with only life, awareness, and emotion. There's no relief from pain ("glad that's over.."), because there are no brain cells physically functioning to process any previous [experiential] memories. Unless...there are advanced interstellar intelligences with the computing power to zoom in on our individual active brains from afar, and re-create the trillions and trillions of neural connections that make up the moments, the days, the years, a life. Just had to add that last part. You never know.

I'm a music teacher and I find the assertion that "bitonal music doesn't exist" to be blatantly wrong and unstudied. It doesn't surprise me at all that non-musicians are able to discern bitonality.

Keith, I know a former concert pianist who visited a friend's apartment with a piano against the wall. Next door was another pianist with another piano against the same wall. When the neighbor would practice Chopin, the professor would mimic him a semitone higher, following exactly his frustrated starts and stops.
