Once upon an epoch, the forces of natural selection were pretty easy to spot: the lurking lion, the poisonous fruit, the deadly chill or prolonged drought. it's not so easy to see human evolution at work these days. That it's still happening is not in dispute (at least among the vast majority of scientists), but the factors that influence our evolutionary path have clearly changed. ( Union Tribune)
