Sen. John Kerry's permanent hang dog expression may have cost him valuable votes on Election Day. According to recent findings published in the journal Evolution and Human Behavior, the qualities that voters think they can discern in a candidate's face have a surprisingly strong influence on how they vote. Researchers at Dr. Anthony Little's lab believe there's something more at work than having the right image consultant. It seems to be the very features of the face that determine political outcomes.
