During last evenings news broadcast I thought I had witnessed the mother of all culture jams. A seemingly innocous ad for restless leg sydrome (RLS) closed with the warning use of this drug may cause impluse control problems such as pathological gambling, an increased libido and hypersexuality. I wondered how could this salacious bit of info slipped past the manufacturer without their prior approval. Apparently, the FDA required them to include the proviso, but to some party animals those side- effects might be an added inducement. It's only a matter of time before they package it with Viagra ( FDA News)
