FYI News/Coronet Instructional Film

9 min 52 sec

This is a 1947 film from Coronet Instructional Films, presumably
intended for use in high schools.  It was put together by
Alice Sowers, Ph.D, the director of the Family Life Institute at the
University of Oklahoma.

The idea was to show it to kids, in order to get

how to be a conformist.

watched this film ended up being more popular.  Or more
conformist, for that matter.

podcast about the film, with added, mildly
satirical,
commentary from a modern perspective.
