This is a nice bit of Scandinavian design.

But take another look.  Notice the ST segment?

I confess I don't know any thing about reading electrocardiograms. However, I looked up "ST segment", and noticed that the bookshelf lacks a PR segment. Is this a worrisome oversight?

Yeah, it does lack a PR segment [after I've looked in Wikipedia]. However, it's a unique kind of bookshelf. I would want to have one when I get my own house.

As far as I know, the lack of a PR segment is not something that ever happens in real life. At least not for long enough that anyone could ever see it. Anyway, it is pretty neat.
