Unfortunately, there is no link to the study methodology. It
is hard to imagine any Institutional Review Board granting approval for
such a research project.

Why wouldn’t an IRB grant approval? Testosterone can be measured using a finger stick, which is rather low risk.

Perhaps some IRBs would go along with it, but the thing is, the risk to the participant is not zero, but the potential benefit is zero.

This was an insurance company investigating the effect of various stimuli on secretion of a neurohormone with strong impacts on aggression and related behaviors, which would seem to have a significant relationship to risk management, or at least to the equitable pricing of insuring risk.

In any event, this was industrial research, where it is sufficient that the subject be informed of the risk, not research under the control of a career government ethics nanny.

The newspaper reporters who hack people phones should be put into prison for 10 years. Longer for hacking the phones of ones who were a victim of a crime or lost some one. The grief and pain of death is bad, without some one hacking your phone to get some thing that they can twist into a news story.

The newspaper “News of the World” is closing. Hundreds lose their jobs because the one who should have lost her job, gets another job with a fat pay check. As the head of “News of the World” she should have been kicked out and the hundreds of employies that had nothing to do with the scandle, would still have their jobs. Wonder what she has been doing to get that to happen.

Warum machen die Leute verhungern in einer Welt, die mehr Nahrung als es braucht? Auf einer Webseite es sagte, es sei aufgrund der Logistik bewegt die Nahrung. Ich sage, es ist mehr mit Profit als einen Mangel an der Fähigkeit, die Nahrung zu, wo sie benötigt bewegen. Auch einige Länder der Dritten Welt exportieren Lebensmittel, die sie brauchen, damit sie Geld für andere Dinge zu bekommen. Wenn wir alle noch auf halbem Weg zu dem, was wir Menschheit nennen, würde niemand verhungern. Aber wir sind Menschen und nicht, bis unsere guten Ideale zu leben.

No matter how much he tried to forget about it, he couldn’t.

The guilt and sense of betrayal was overwhelming. But every once in a while he’d hear an internal, reassuring voice that said:

“Dave, don’t worry about it. You aren’t the first doctor to sleep with one of their patients and you won’t be the last. And you’re single. Just let it go..”

I pulled and ripped away at a board to gain entry. The cottage was all boarded up and I needed a place to sleep for the night. So I managed to prize the door open and eventually I got myself in and what did I see! A dodgem car! What the hell or why the hell have they parked a dodgem car in a boarded up cottage for!!!
