One of my favorite parts of this whole book publication process has been getting to meet the people behind the voices on NPR. I spend so much time tuned to my local public radio station that I feel this intimate conversational bond with the anchors and reporters on the air. So it was a special treat to get to meet Kurt Andersen, host of Studio 360, which I listen to religiously. You can listen to an excerpt from our conversation this weekend on the show. We talk about Whitman and the body, Cezanne's blank spots and the possibility of unraveling the rainbow. (Even if you're sick of hearing about Proust being a neuroscientist, you should still check out the episode, since it features an interview with Todd Haynes, of "I'm Not There", and Josh Ritter, the singer-songwriter.)

I heard the broadcast today, checked out the book, will be buying it and also learned about your blog efforts, so I will become a visitor to see what's new in your particular world.
I love Proust and I love all things related to the study of the mind including evolutionary psychology and philosophy.
Have you read "How Proust Can Change Your Life"?

As heavy RSS user, and a reader of this site, it would be nice if you could make your titles a little more precise. When browsing fast I like to be able to geat an idea what the post is about from the title. Just a suggestion. Great side!
