I Gotta Have More Microbes!

Category: Microbes
Posted on: September 11, 2007 9:26 PM, by CR McClain

microbes%21.jpgGuess what?! I got a fever, and the only prescription... is more microbes!* Luckily, there is help for me. That may be a far stretch, but there are some posts. They have the fever over at Tales From the Microbial Laboratory, but they probably always had it. Cesar at Twisted Bacteria is keeping the momentum too with his second contribution of the week, Finding A Needle in Ocean. A cute little bacteria toy complete with flagella will probably be all the rage this holiday season. Do not be the last on your block with one. And don't forget to head over to the dauntingly titled Metagenomics site for your free pdf of
Understanding Our Microbial Planet.

Keep the link and post love coming!

*By the way if you are Christopher Walkin and you see this I am huge fan! I will watch any movie you are in. Please send me an autographed picture. Dr. Sylvia Earle...I am still waiting for my pic from you.

I'm half awake and barely responding to stimuli and that still made me laugh.

Can I just say one thing? I'm standing here, staring at Deep Sea News Microbial Week! And if Deep Sea News wants more microbes, we should probably give them more microbes! And, Craig, you are right - I am being selfish. But the last time I checked, we don't HAVE a whole lot of songs that feature microbes.

Kevin Z would be doing himself a disservice, and everybody on this blog, if he doesnt perform the hell out of this.
