He spends most of his time balancing his overwhelming geekdom with normalcy so he can function in the real world. Luckily his wife likes his geekiness.



peter_chinchorro.jpg Peter Etnoyer is a Graduate Research Associate at the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. He studies deep corals and ocean fronts, and he loves to be on the water.



kevvygumby%20copy.jpg Kevin Zelnio is a Graduate Student Researcher at Penn State studying the ecology of hydrothermal vent and methane seep communities. He raises awareness of the plight of the spineless through folk music.

I really enjoyed the talk this afternoon, and I will try to comment more instead of being such a lurker. It was nice meeting you, maybe next time we'll have a bit more time to talk about the fun stuff over a few beers.

Hpoe you hace a safe flight back and a good time on the beach.

damn, I hit the wrong button (I thought the dog was peeing on the carpet, but it was the butter sizzling in the pan so there was a bit of panic).

I meant to preface that last comment with a "completely and utterly off topic" tag, as well as your name, but none of that happened. What's a guy to do? (other than spell hope and have properly)

On topic: Calypso was one of the few John Denver songs I ever liked, (I grew up with JD, Mom loved him.
