He spends most of his time balancing his overwhelming geekdom with normalcy so he can function in the real world. Luckily his wife likes his geekiness.



peter_chinchorro.jpg Peter Etnoyer is a Graduate Research Associate at the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. He studies deep corals and ocean fronts, and he loves to be on the water.

That is the advertising campaign of the National Aquarium in Baltimore. I LOVE their new ads. You can even make your own aqua faces!

I usually see the aquarium when I'm in Baltimore; it really is pretty neat. The way the dolphins are kept there does make me sad, though, and I wish more facilities took better care of their cetaceans.

Thanks! It's been turning some heads up here.

The agency that did it also tried to start a viral video. 11,000 hits isn't too bad! We're just hoping it translates into visitors.
