Marsh gave five names, and the editors contacted all five. Monckton was the only one to respond. ...
[Saperstein] regrets the statement at the front of the newsletter which reads "There is a considerable presence within the scientific community of people who do not agree with the IPCC conclusion".
"It is clear that we made one error in my colleague's introduction. In retrospect, the word 'considerable' should have been dropped."

BigCityLib highlighted Marsh on Monday the 21st. I added some more detail, as it is clear that Marsh has run off into serious denialist leanings, with OpEds, etc, for several years, and has published lots of pieces in FPS. [Hence, Larry Gould may have been delighted to see Monckton's piece appear, but didn't seem to have been involved in making it happen, contrary to my earlier speculations.]

Mashey: yes, the smoking gun now appears to be in Marsh's hands but I'm sure you're right that Gould is happy. Or jealous. Probably both.

A2. If a reporter writes an insightful story, let them know that also, since most of the time, they get nothing but complaints.
