There is an even more interesting twist: “Danny Noonan” –a 24 year old 2L Law Student — is the posters REAL name.
LOL. He must get really, really tired of having people “Nnnnnnnnnnnn-oonan”. And I’m guessing the next person that says, “Be the ball, Danny. Danny, you’re not being the ball”, is gonna get punched. And what’s the suck up line he uses on Judge Smales? “I’ve always been fascinated by the law, sir”. Perfect for a law student!
On one of the threads I asked him if he were a law-student yet or a did he turn out to be a “ditch-digger”? He, at first, took it as an insult before I explained the context (as Judge Smails said to Noonan, “well the world needs ditch-diggers too you know!”).
I only took it as an insult because there were two “Jonathans” commenting and one of them was hostile and I was confused as to which made the comment. I think the two lines I hear most are:
“do you do drugs Danny?”
to whic I always reply:
“every day.”
and
“I like you Betty.”
