Gribbit's Violent Tendencies

Category: ACLU
Posted on: June 17, 2006 2:32 PM, by Ed Brayton

Boy, just when you think this guy couldn't get any more pathetic, you see something like this. Yes, it was Gribbit who left the comment at Capt. Rational's blog wanting to beat him up tonight at 6 in Cleveland:

I'm off to Cleveland this afternoon to see if a couple of my favorite trolls have the intestinal fortitude to show up and take the ass beating they deserve. So if I don't post for a day or so, that's because I'm in jail.

When I was growing up, you refrained from using the liar moniker because to allow that to fly indiscriminately was grounds for a fat lip. Well there are a couple of trolling moonbats who, like Al Franken, have a "liar" fetish and I've invited them to meet me this evening to get what they deserve.

Well yes, because it's much easier to beat someone up than to not be a liar. I didn't think Gribbit was lying at first, but at some point it becomes lying. He's been shown that he was wrong, in black and white, direct from the texts of the law and the court ruling he was speaking of, yet he refuses to stop passing that falsehood along. That's no different from lying, in my book. The only alternatives are rank stupidity and mental illness (suffering from delusions). But as I said previously, the one thing that is crystal clear from all of this is that this guy has far too much testosterone and far too little intelligence and education.

Wow. This guy is just unbelievable.

6:00 in Cincinnati?? That has got to be the most insanely stupid I've ever heard. Actually, the whole thing beyond stupid and insane. It seems now to have entered into some surreal territory governed by the muse of all things profoundly ridiculous.

I don't think the English language even has a word to describe the magnitude of Gribbit's idiocy. Seriously. I just checked Roget's. I couldn't find one good enough.

Gribbit:
"When I was growing up..."

Kind of makes it sound like he's done instead of somewhere near the beginning of the process.

What is so bad about him wanting to fight the trolls? How ELSE can a person prove the truth of his arguments?? Reason? Logic? Please. Hello, the expression is "MIGHT makes right" not "LOGIC makes right." Morons.

I love the banner on the right-hand side:

"This site PRAYS for our troops

You can have a weblog do your praying for you? Is that in one of the apocryphal gospels?

Gearing Up For A Fight

I'm thinking he probably has a short Italian-American trainer making him run up steps.

I *heart* Gribbit.

When I was growing up
Hah-hah.
This teenybopper has been getting all the adults upset.
Imagine what he might do when he does grow up. That is, if he's not too busy asking people "Do you want fries with that?"

I wish it was Cincinnati. I would have to come out to where ever it was to watch him run. It would be funny.
