Apparently, 2004 World Series of Poker champion Greg Raymer, an attorney by training, may be in the running for the VP slot on the Libertarian Party's 2008 ticket:
In an interview with our favorite Lithuanian-based poker news site, PokerNews.com, 2004 WSOP champ Greg Raymer claimed he's considering a run for the VP spot in the 2008 election, saying, "I am currently talking to some people who run the Libertarian Party about the possibility of running to be the party's official candidate for Vice President of the United States."
Hey, it beats the hell out of Michael Badnarik, the first class nut they put up for president in 2004.

Heck, a chimp throwing his own feces at the wall would be a more viable candidate than Michael Badnarik. I say this as someone who actually voted for him.

As FishyFred points out, I did as well. But I did so while fully aware of two things: A) he was a complete nut; B) he had absolutely no chance of winning.
