The West Michigan Freethought Association has made the video of my talk available on their website. It’s in MP4 format as a video podcast. For those who can’t view that format, I may have another format available at some point soon. To view it, click here (or right click on it and download it). The file is about 60 meg and downloads quickly if you have broadband.

I just finished watching it. Great job, Ed. Not only was it informative, but you were quite entertaining in your presentation.
And while an exhaustive overview of ID and would have taken an 8 hour seminar or longer, you hit on most of the important issues and all but one of the funny moments from the trial (which was my personal favorite), when Behe was forced to admit that ID is as scientific as astrology.
Now a statement like that from an expert witness is about as big a jaw-dropper as it gets!

.mp4 and 60 megs? You can upload that sucker to YouTube, no problem.

OK, I’m downloading now. I’m hoping you’ve got a Mike Tyson voice.

I’m watching it right now, Ed. Very interesting and informative presentation. You should consider posting this to PT.

Wow I hope they do better with their “textbook” the next time around. “See Spot run, I’d like to see him turn into a cat. See spot run with your really really really really super duper complicated eyeballs. They began abruptly through an intelligent agency. Wow!”

The file has .txt attached to it, so it wants to display as a huge block of text in my browser. The only way at present to view it is to remove the .txt after download. Maybe you can ask them to correct the file name?

Or maybe the .txt thing is caused by the spaces they left in the file name. The download starts as an MP4, but seconds later turns into a TXT file. Weird…..

Loved the talk btw

Very nicely done, Ed. Although I already had most of what you talked about (from your blog mostly), it was still entertaining to see you blast the Buckingham and the other board members.
