Scott Bloch, the astonishingly corrupt hack who runs the Office of Special Counsel, is going to launch an investigation of Karl Rove and his involvement in the firing of the 8 US attorneys. And in related news, the Big Bad Wolf has been hired as an in-home caregiver for Little Red Riding Hood’s grandmother. Bloch himself is under investigation for a wide range of instances of misuse and abuse of his authority and he has made the OSC into a laughingstock. Jason Leopold has details on some of Bloch’s problems.

As I noted on my blog, Bloch’s statement that the OSC “will take the evidence where it leads us” has rather suspicious connections.
