Dispatches from the Creation Wars

A Threatening Troll

I just wanted to move this comment up here for everyone to see just how insane some people can be. This was in response to the post about Dr. Laura’s apparently whacko son and it appears that he has company in his insanity:

you are full of shit you fat liberal fuck if it was not for people like dr.laura’s son your fat stupid ass would be killed by the islamofacist you fat ugly peice of shit you peacenicks are destroying this nation but trust me you liberal cowards are gonna get your punishment you stupid fucks we are gunnin’ for you and we are gonna get you just wait after the next big terrorist attack all you liberal fuckheads will be fair game you and the islamofacist just wait bitch soon it will be open season

This clear threat has been reported to his ISP, which is sbcglobal.net. If they have anything like a coherent abuse policy, this person’s account will be closed immediately. It can hardly be surprising that this idiot can’t put together a coherent and grammatically correct sentence.

It was probably Dr. Laura herself.

They saved your arse just so they can kill you themselves?

Ignoring the stupidity, ignorance, viciousness and evil nature revealed by the poster; just this makes me wonder about the posters intelligence and reasoning abilities.

Will the ISP just close the account or will they inform the police? Will they advise you of their actions?

It’s also notable how this person is yearning for a terrorist attack, so that he/she can start gunning people he/she hates. It must be a sad and an empty life to live off hatred.

We can always hope for an actual chronological age in the early teens and not just a mental age in that rage. He might, just might, still be issued his adult brain at some point in the future and become a functional human being.

I was especially amused by his repeated use of the singular. I hope someone catches this Islamofacist fellow before he strikes again.

Maybe Steve Dutch is right, and this is the result of the de-institutionalization of the mentally ill during the 70′s…

A man is defined by his enemies. Since your enemies are incompetent morons who are batshit crazy, they define you as brilliant and rationality personified. Okay, you can gloat, but please gloat quietly.

Matt, instead of reaching full arousal by drumming up the John Wayne fantasies in your head maybe you should take some time and enter a remedial English class at the local community college.

Just remember, punctuation is your friend.

I would go with ROFL! I suppose as adults we are supposed to take things like this seriously, but its just so hard.

Wow! That almost reads like a serious threat! I wonder if he’ll get a visit from homeland security sometime soon?

And what, indeed, is an islamoFACIST anyway? Someone who has an islamoface?

It was probably Dr. Laura herself.

    Bwahahahaha! That’s hilarious.

What I want to know is how this cretin makes enough money to pay for internet access. He should be living in the woods eating bark and weeds and arguing with trees.

And maybe he ought to be on the “no sell gun to” list.

Hmm… This could be Dick Cheney having some fun, which has been in short supply for him since they took his shotguns away, or maybe this is a new writing technique, “Stream of Unconsciousness”. Maybe Dembski will turn him into Homeland Security for you?

It appears to me that this should be reported to the FBI. The consensus of the comments and Mr. Braytons’ statement seems to be that this fellow is just a garden variety whackjob. However, after the incident at VPU, I think that even seemingly garden variety whackjobs should be taken seriously.

“It’s also notable how this person is yearning for a terrorist attack, so that he/she can start gunning people he/she hates.”

Variants of that sentiment, usually expressed more eloquently, are pretty common on the blogosphere these days. Glenn Reynolds made similar comments about the media, for instance, albeit in his usual faux-detached manner, ie: “Nice liberal media you’ve got there. Shame if something were to happen to it.” Check out the trolls at Sadly, No! or other leftie provocateur sites for frequent comments along those lines.

This guy’s “argument” kind of presupposes that Mr. Laurason is not only a typical US soldier, but one worth great respect. Great poster boy for the war…

So this charming troll is hoping for a terrorist action so that he may attack us “enemies”. Sounds like he is open to temperary alliences. Sounds like a friend of Dinesh D’Souza.

I propose a slogan for both Islamic jihadists and rightwing extremists like this: Sexually-Frustrated Unemployed Losers of the World Unite!

Put “door” in front of this loser’s name and you have his job description.

What a coward. Take care, Ed.

From what I read about matt’s “hero,” I half expect this troll to declare that the founding fathers fought and died so that we may be free to rape and torture.

    Nice comment traffic.

Ed needs to post more loonies to break the usual PZ lock on the top 5 most commented. *grin*

It’s sad, really. Sometimes I wonder if there’s a real, causal connection between incoherence of language and incoherence of thought. It seems, to me at least, that someone who lacks the ability to organize their ideas in a coherent fashion would also be more likely to hold irrational or inconsistent beliefs. And conversely, someone who has good language skills will be better able to organize his/her thoughts in order to find and correct possible inconsistencies in them.

I wonder if anyone’s ever done a study on that. I’d be interested in reading it if it exists.

Wes: I’m sure most professors assume such a correlation when they grade essay-test answers. As one of them said in a class I took, if you can’t express it in words, it’s probably because you don’t really understand it as much as you say you do.

I’m not sure, but I believe that issuing threats by mail or by wire is a federal crime. This may be too non-specific a threat to be considered by the FBI, but you might want to contact them and find out.
