Gordon Ramsey Burns His Balls

Posted on: September 12, 2007 9:02 AM, by Ed Brayton

Quite literally:

TV Chef Gordon Ramsay needed urgent hospital treatment after burning his meat and two veg.

The F-Word and Hell's Kitchen star rushed to London's private Cromwell Hospital after roasting his sensitive parts.

And there are details:

Ramsay, 40, said: "I burnt my right b*****k and I'm in absolute agony.

"You wouldn't believe how much this hurts."

He told of his painful kitchen accident before picking up his Best Chef gong at at the GQ Men of the Year awards.

He said at the glitzy event on Tuesday: "The other day I was standing too close to the hob when I was cooking.

"I was wearing cotton trousers and underneath I was going commando.

"Then suddenly I felt this searing heat - my b***s were burning."

I bet that hurts almost as much as watching your godawful show. Or as much as hosting it, though I'm sure the money helps cover up that huge hole in your soul you dug out and gave to the network so that instead of being a world class chef, you're now stuck on TV doing a bad impersonation of a drill instructor to a bunch of junior high school cafeteria cooks.

Were you channeling Anthony Bourdain in that last paragraph?

2

No need to channel him - you can read Bourdain's real rant on the hells kitchen here:
