New Allegations in ORU Scandal

Posted on: October 14, 2007 9:46 AM, by Ed Brayton

This story just keeps getting better and better. That lawsuit filed against Oral Roberts University contains some even more explosive allegations than initially revealed, according to this Tulsa World article:

The full, unsubstantiated report now attached to the lawsuit contains new allegations that Lindsay Roberts, Richard Roberts' wife, spent the night in an ORU guest house with an underage male nine times, was photographed 29 times in her car with an underage male after midnight and after minors' curfew, visited Victory Christian School with an underage male 81 times in 2004, smoked with an underage male at her house and repeatedly moved her "male 16-year-old friend" into her family's house.

And it gets worse:

The new suit includes a new allegation that Richard Roberts and ORU gave ''a convicted sexual deviant unrestricted access to the students of the university.''

The suit doesn't identify the person, but says that prior to his association with the school he had confessed to crimes in Tulsa, Tulsa County and Payne County.

''All three allegations of sexually-deviant conduct resulted in convictions,'' the suit says.

The person was hired at the direct personal instruction and under the supervision of Richard Roberts, the suit says.

The person, identified as a ''Mentor'' for ORU students, ''confessed to the facts regarding exposing himself to a fifteen year old boy in a school locker room,'' the suit says.

Wait till the depositions start. This is gonna get really fun.

Even supposing she is doing whatever with these underage males, why all the photographs? Who hangs around after midnight with a camera, hoping to get a photo of Lindsay Roberts? This is quite bizarre.

Oh, this one is gonna be good. What I'm most looking forward to is the contrite evangelicals shaking their heads and mumbling how Satan is just everywhere these days, darn it. I think he's been disguising himself as Lindsay's loins most recently, heh heh heh.

Not much of a disguise...

Nothing here that a few tearful confessions and a dozen Hail Marys can't take care of.

Speechless. But with a big grin. :D

Perhaps Lindsay is the only true "Oral" in the family.

From the article:

The person, identified as a ''Mentor'' for ORU students, ''confessed to the facts regarding exposing himself to a fifteen year old boy in a school locker room,'' the suit says.

When using a locker room, isn't everybody pretty much exposing themselves to everybody else?

Lindsay Roberts's most marketable commodity is located where the tracks converge at the station. Does she also Whooppee PTL as did her predecessor Tammy Fay?

Since Lindsay is obviously a harlot one would think and hope that she would have the sense of capitalism to teach her daughters to at least charge for the only thing they are good at!

My credentials are posted under Google. Since I am Canadian and my ethics are superior to the Robert's morality and I am good in my field, I am looking for a job at Oral Robert's University where I would like to teach German, Canadian Literature and Be sure your sins will find you out!

What say?

"Aules Foatjel von eene Saej"" we used to say on our farm during my youth, meaning "All piglets from the same sow" timeless, obviously in it's applicability re. the Roberts Brood!

It's nice to know that Dean Wormer's wife landed on her feet after the divorce.

Time to pull the Generic Evangalical Escape Procedure: Announce her sins publicly, repent, say it will never happen again, retire to 'spend more time with her family,' lay low for a few months, and then resume just as she used to once the media has wandered elsewhere.

Why the photographs?
If I was a young student banging the Dean's wife, you better believe I'd ask a friend to take pictures.

Food fight!

The Sexual deviant rumor is true! His name is Larry Favalora he came onto the ORU campus trying to promote some of his referal marketing businesses to students and "mentor" them in the area of finances. Anyway the story with the 15 year old kid is true and was published in the Novermber 5th issue of the Tulsa world in 2004. You can also look up his case online at the Oklahoma State courts Network website.

I can't understand all of the hype. The kid was probably planting his "seed gift", like they beg for nightly on television. I'm looking forward to hearing, in the words of Jimmy Swaggart, "I have sinned".
