Thomas Found Liable

Posted on: October 3, 2007 9:16 AM, by Ed Brayton

A jury in New York found Knicks coach and GM Isiah Thomas liable for sexual harassment. They ordered the Knicks to pay $11.6 million in damages, but the team is appealing the verdict. Rumor has it that Isiah wants to negotiate a settlement. He will no doubt begin with a counteroffer of $54 million over 7 years and a low-ranking female employee to be named later.

What a shock -- Isiah Thomas was in a building containing a court, and lost.

Let's be fair to Thomas. Coach Thomas did a creditable job with the junk that general manager Thomas provided him with.
