12000 Flags for 12000 Patriots

There’s an important event taking place at the National Mall in Washington DC this weekend, put on by the Human Rights Campaign, Servicemembers United, the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network, the Log Cabin Republicans and Liberty Education Forum. Starting on Friday, November 3rd – the 14th anniversary of the Pentagon’s Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy – these groups will be paying tribute to the 12,000 men and women who have been discharged from the military under that policy by placing 12,000 flags on the mall. A brief video about the event is below the fold. For more information, go here.
