I have to agree with Radley Balko, Princess Cruise Lines is showing appalling disregard for their customers. The story is that an elderly woman books an Alaska cruise for $2500 and airfare to get to Alaska for nearly $600 more. Due to multiple flight delays, none her fault, she ended up getting there too late and missing the cruise. Not only is Princess Cruise Lines saying they get to keep her money for the cruise, they also are keeping the money that the airlines refunded her for the delays. It was all booked through the cruise line, you see. So they book the flights, the flights are delayed, and the lady is screwed for all her money when she didn’t do a damn thing wrong. Patently ridiculous. I suggest calling 1-800-PRINCESS and telling them to get their heads out of their asses.
