As I write this, the Celtics are beating the Knicks 100-51. No, that’s not a typo. In the last two weeks, Isiah benched Marbury, who immediately left the team and flew home to pout. Then he rejoined the team and Isiah had the team vote on whether he should play that night. The vote was unanimous that Marbury not play, but Thomas played him anyway. Good move, Isiah. Way to lose the entire team. And the punchline is this: who didn’t see this coming other than James Dolan? Anyone with a functioning central nervous system knows that Isiah Thomas couldn’t run a chinese firedrill, much less a sports franchise. I hope Dolan never fires him; this is too much fun to watch.
