Youtube Gems: David Cross

Posted on: November 17, 2007 9:02 AM, by Ed Brayton

David Cross is one of the funniest comics working today and youtube has some great clips of his stand up. First up is a great clip about religion:

There's no video with this one, but it's a very funny bit about flags and patriotism:

David Cross is awesome. Mr Show was amazing, and Cross even turned out a great performance as a disturbed employee on The Drew Carey Show.

Concerning the whole Jesus and footprints on the beach bit, href="http://www.theonion.com/content/node/34168">I'm sure you've already seen this a billion times but it's worth posting anyway.

About half a minute into the first clip, I had to restart and begin counting. In this clip I counted David saying y'no 40 times. There were also a lot of I mean's, ah's and um's that I didn't count. It would have been a funny performance if not for this blatant display of illiteracy.
I didn't, y'no, listen to the y'no second clip, y'no, because I knew, y'no, what I'd have, y'no, heard.
Has nobody on this planet ever bloody $&#*(^% learned to speak English?
