Remember that ridiculous case where an LA county worker claimed that taking the cross off the county seal was unconstitutional? The Supreme Court just denied cert on that case, to no one's surprise. The case was dismissed and the dismissal upheld by the lower courts. The ACLU threats on the issue were ridiculous, in my view, but this lawsuit was even more ridiculous. I don't think there was any constitutional violation for the cross on the county seal to begin with, but there damn sure isn't any constitutional violation in taking the cross off the seal.
