He has written for such publications as The Bard, Skeptic and Reports of the National Center for Science Education, spoken in front of many organizations and conferences, and appeared on nationally syndicated radio shows and on C-SPAN. Ed is also a Fellow with the Center for Independent Media and the host of Declaring Independence, a one hour weekly political talk show on WPRR in Grand Rapids, Michigan.(static)

Youtube Gems: Johnny Hartman

Johnny Hartman is a jazz singer who has, sadly, been too often forgotten. He had an incredibly smooth baritone voice that is really unmatched in that genre. He did some classic work in the 60s with John Coltrane. Unfortunately, there's not a lot on Youtube, but there's a couple classics. Video below the fold:

There's no video with this and the vocal doesn't start until a minute or two into it, but this is one of his greatest songs, done with Coltrane: My One and Only Love.
