Dispatches from the Creation Wars

Worldnutdaily Readers Worse than Writers

If you think some of the writers for the Worldnutdaily are scary, wait till you see the readers. Pam Spaulding copies part of a comment thread in the WND reader’s forum that is absolutely frightening. It goes from rants against interracial and intercultural dating to wanting gays put to death. Long excerpt below the fold:

Bob, if I can make a suggestion. Offering opinions about Bible meanings are best made in the light of the Bible defining itself.

Adultery, like sodomy is a crime against mankind, nature and nature’s Creator. The punishment of such is the death penalty. It is clearly an act committed with another man’s wife. Here is the proof:

Leviticus 20:10 And the man that committeth adultery with [another] man’s wife, [even he] that committeth adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

Now regarding inter-racial marriage. I do not support it. You cannot make a Biblical case out of it however. Moses married an Ethiopian; she was most likely very dark or black.

However, her father was a righteous man. Jethro worshipped the Creator as we know him today.

For me it is more intercultural marriage that I am against. For instance, we do not believe in dating. Our children are taught courtship. I have not ever met a black family that teaches their children courtship. So, the likelihood of our children marrying into a black family is very small.

I remember a line from the movie ‘Fiddler On The Roof’ regarding a Jewish girl who wanted to marry a Greek boy. Teviah (the star) made the statement “a bird may love a fish, but where would they make a home together”. This statement says it well.

When considering inter-racial relationships one has to understand that you are bringing the culture of other family into your family. This is a disaster if you believe in passing your faith from generation to generation.

You sir are wrong. Jared Taylor is not a supremist. As I stated I spent 2 days in close contact with hi at an American Renaissancw meeting near D C a few years ago. I never heard one racist remark come out of his mouth. You stated that you have dated “white” girls, well I don’t know if that is something for you to be proud of but I have never found a need to date outside my race. I truly believe that God made us different because he wanted us that way and in my opinion the word ADULTRY as in the commandment does not mean another mans wife I think it means out side of your race. That is my belief and you are welcome to yours.
I’m not really sure where the 8% figure comes from on slave decendents. I’m not sure if I read it or heard it.
I notice that most of you posts to me and everyone else always seams to be grgumentive. I don’t really get into that. I prefer to talk opinions with like minded people so BYE. BYE

No, sodomites do not deserve respect. Think of what you are saying. They have made a public plea for affirmation based on a medically unsafe, disease ridden, deviant behavior.

Biblically, they are an abomination and civil authorities are obligated to execute them for their crimes. Obviously, you care not. That does not excuse them.

Frightening.

You stick with those white boys for too long and you’ll get yourself a vitamin deficiency. Everybody knows the blacks and the Asians have more vitamin B and D, respectively.

Yeah, but if you stick with blacks too long you might catch the leprosy.

Soooo, god’s agin inter-racial marriage, is he/she/it? Doesn’t intend for folks of different hues to get down together?

    Yep!

I can’t help wondering why the deity allowed it to be physically possible for us to love across the lines, then. And productively too. Unlike true cross-species unions, which are barren, inter-racial unions produce issue

Clearly you haven’t read State v. Jackson (80 Mo. 175):

It is stated as a well authenticated fact that if the issue of a black man and a white woman, and a white man and a black woman intermarry, they cannot possibly have any progeny, and such a fact sufficiently justifies those laws which forbid the intermarriage of blacks and whites, laying out of view other sufficient grounds for such enactments.

And boy, it’s a good thing I wasn’t drinking when I read this:

Jared Taylor is not a supremist.

    Yeah… sure he’s not.
